Whoooops!
Having been sick in bed for almost 2 straight weeks, I was FINALLY able to get back to work and back to the computer just last week. One of the emails I missed was from one of my readers, she asked if I had ever made a paper pieced hospital patient. Well, I haven’t but oddly enough my father just had knee surgery and is in the hospital this week and I needed to make him a ‘Get Well’ card. Here’s what I came up with:
Yes, it’s a little…ummm…..tacky maybe? But it made Dad smile and that was the point.

This is way to cute. How you ever may a camel? I need a camel made out of punches and I just can’t seem to get it right.
Any help would be appreicated.

Love your Whoooops! Samantha. If my husband was still alive your card would have the entire hospital floor howling and rolling in the corridors! Now if only you had invented this 12 years ago! Oh well I’ll save the idea for the next time one of my brothers in law are in the hospital! My husband spent so much time in hospitals over the years we were together that the whole family has a real appreciation of “hospital” humor. I can see one of my BIL’s now asking me if this is a front view or a back view and if it is the one something is missing! Whoooops! Too much information on that one
Thanks for sharing and glad you are feeling better and hope your dad improves quickly.

I just thought I should let you know I have been bandying your name about the www today. I lost track of your blog and really wanted to find it to case your “pixie” from last year for my grand daughter’s 4th b’day. So thanks for LNS and the ladies there who helped me find you again, and thanks to you for the great ideas. Oh and btw, Whoops is great. I will have to save this idea as well for an appropriate occasion. TFS. Judi

Good day Samantha,
I am volleyball coach and I saw your volleyball player card you made this fall. Would you be willing to share the punches with me you used? Would it be OK if I cased your card but in our school colors. I have 12 cards to make! Please advise. kt

At the hospital where I work we always tell patients we have designer gowns. The designer is C. Moore Heine! I love the card it is so cute and I don’t think it is tacky at all. Having to wear a gown that exposes your backside is what is tacky!

Hi,
Love this guy. I’ve made one similar, but not using punches. Check it out:
