Scallop Punch Wreath Ornament
By now I’m sure everyone has seen the Scallop Punch Ornament or one of the myriad of versions floating through cyber-space as we speak…this is simply my “spin” if you will on the basic ornament. I created “wreaths” using my Scallop Punch and the 1-1/4″ Circle Punch. These were folded and fitted together as in the original design. However, my design differs in that I also added a medallion created from the 3/4″ and 1/2″ Circle Punches to dangle in the center of the scallop wreath. The addition of 2 glass beads adds just the right amount of sparkle and weight for this ornament to twirl on your tree or spin from your chandelier! This is one simple project that packs alot of “punch”!

I LOVE punches, and this is such a smart and easy idea that looks so elegant! Hey, I think I’ll try making one with some spirelli…you’re getting me hooked, too.
